Situated in the Abruzzo region of central Italy, the existing derelict farmhouse was already beyond repair when M+A London was commissioned to submit a proposal for a contemporary replacement.
The new structure is located right at the edge of the hillside property, making the most of the stunning views over the nearby lake, the Adriatic Sea and the mountains of the Maiella national park.
The house features a double height living space, family and guest accommodation, office space and house keeping facilities.
