Standard Chartered Bank
Located in the City of London, the European headquarters needed to reflect their mostly Asia-Pacific and African operations. This, and the emphasis on its historic roots, required a less corporate approach to the re-design of the client meeting suite. The result is an understated fit-out incorporating the Bank’s collection of art and historic artefacts. SCB’s requirement for the design to be aligned with the theories of Feng Shui also involved discussions with a specialist from Asia.
To complete the design of this new facility, great efforts were made to research and purchase additional antique artwork, sculpture, furniture and artefacts which were sourced from around the world.
